I had to post something.
My blog has been almost dead, Dylan made me aware of that. So I thought I would post something. I am not completely happy with this shot but figure I have to start throwing up shots more regularly on here so that I can get some feedback.
This shot was about a 6 image stitch from memory, just something simple. I am always drawn towards simple compositions. Simple things amuse simple minds maybe.
I am hoping to get away for the long weekend, not sure where though at the moment. Will have to way everything up in the coming days.
nice canola, try increasing the contrast in the sky, it is a bit flat.

Hi Luke, Great to see a new post from you! Did you get any good shots from the weekend down south? I’m heading off next week to Hong Kong with the family. Hope you get away for the long weekend too!

Hi Luke,
My name is Steve and I found your blog via Jamies.
I really like your landscape images. I have just purchased a 1Ds and have been on the look for good places to take some nice shots. After blogging jamie I have purchased some lee filters and have began stitching some images.
Lokking at your shots I would love to know how you get so much contrast out of the clouds, it looks brilliant….
Any tips ?
Cheers, Steve.

Cheers Steve. Just by simply using levels you can boost up the contrast in your clouds. Play with the sliders in levels and apply a layer mask so that only the clouds are affected. If you direct me to some shots of yours I could maybe try offer some suggestions. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you continue to do so. Cheers
