Spotto! Tree in the paddock

I took this when I was down in Margaret River a couple of weeks ago. I was heading back to Margaret River after shooting around Gracetown late in the afternoon when I decided I would pull over along the way and try get some sort of night shot. I saw this dead tree in the paddock and thought it would serve well in a simple composition where I would paint it with light.

    Sweet shot mate ,
    Nice and simple composition .
I bought a spot light a couple of months ago with the same idea of doing some painting with light at night . Still havent got around to it yet

    Great shot!
I have done a fair bit of light painting but not recently. I really like the cloud movement in front of the stars!

Sounds like we should all be heading out one night and do some ‘light painting’. Mosman Bay Boatsheds sprint to mind.

  8. Nice shot, Luke. I’ve tried this painting with light style once before and didn’t manage to pull it off. You’ve done this one quite well.
