Bennion Beach

I haven’t been out shooting a lot lately and therefor have not submitted for a while to my new blog. Hopefully over the coming weeks I get more playtime.
This is a shot I took a few weeks ago now.  I wasn’t going to submit it as I am not 100% happy with it but I felt I needed to put an end to this submission drought.
Feedback greatly appreciated.

  1. Love the colour and clouds, but I feel the composition is just a little off. The water motion in the foreground almost balances it for me, but I just think it’s a little off…..

    Keep them coming though!

    Cheers

  2. A new post Luke :)
Great Clouds and movment in the water mate , as Dylan was say there is something about the compostion that could be improved still a nice shot .
Heading off to Melbourne this weekend but after that well have to catch up for a shoot .

  3. Thanks for the posts guys. I agree with both of you. There was another rock just to the left of frame which when included just didn’t work at all so I opted for this composition. Couldn’t be bothered moving. Slack!
Good luck in Melb and yeah, give us a yell when you get back.

  4. Yeah Luke I’m keen for a shoot with the clouds coming through this week.
I’ll let you know when if I’m heading out some time.

  5. Yeah now worries Dylan, just let me know.

  6. I like it, very moody. What time of day was that? Mark

  7. Thanks jacaranda.
As far as time goes.. about 5pm I think.

  8. Hi Luke,

I reckon its a pretty cool shot. I’d love to see it a little darker and moodier, but I say that about all photos. :-)

  9. Very nice Luke. The water movement and clouds seem to mess very well with each other.

  10. Very nice atmosphere in this shot.
I really like the water blur
